From our headquarters in Lake Union Park we're always working on fun and engaging activities to celebrate our region. Click here to view our current Programs Brochure or visit our Program Calendar for all of our upcoming events and activities. We also encourage you to follow us on Twitter or Facebook for the most up-to-date info on our programming not to mention fun tidbits of local history!
On the second Thursday of each month, MOHAI hosts Seattle AntiFreeze, a social gathering for people interested in exploring what—besides the Freeze—defines the character of this city. Meet new people while learning more about the place you live!
Ever wondered how Seattle came to own most of a river for its drinking water? What Seattlites were up to during the Civil War? Or if this town has ever had any fashion sense? We've got you covered with regular lectures and talks on local history, both popular and obscure. Check out our History Cafe series, an informal chat about history co-hosted with Seattle Public Library, and HistoryLink.
Nothing goes together better than trivia and beer. Join us for some pub trivia MOHAI-style with questions about local history and culture during special history rounds at neighborhood bars around the city.
On the last Saturday of the month, come to Maker Day at MOHAI to tinker, experiment and create alongside some of Seattle's most innovative makers.
