Compass Cafe
Compass Cafe by Northwest Catering is a community dining space with unique food made from local ingredients and unmatched views at the edge of Lake Union. The ala carte menu is designed to accommodate the diverse tastes of museum clientele and to provide some variety for regulars. Offerings include grilled-to-order sandwiches, fresh salads, soups, hot entrees, small plates, and desserts, all made fresh daily with seasonal ingredients. Beverages will include espresso drinks and a selection of locally produced wine and beer. Filling the northwest corner of the historic Naval Reserve Armory, the café’s expansive windows offer stunning views west over Lake Union Park to the Space Needle and north over Lake Union and the historic sailing vessels docked nearby.
During warmer months, café patrons can dine on the Boeing Community Terrace, a beautiful west-facing outdoor patio. Along with the views, visitors can enjoy the cafe bar's repurposed wood from the 1897 schooner Wawona, which once moored at the docks outside.
Compass Cafe is also available for private events in conjunction with the museum's Lakefront Pavilion or Boeing Community Terrace. Find out more on our Plan an Event page.
