Plan your group visit to the Museum of History & Industry.
Groups of 10 or more adults (18 years and older) visiting MOHAI together are eligible for discounted admission with advance registration. For details about bringing a youth group to the museum, please visit our Education page.
Step 1: Choose your MOHAI experience
Explore the museum at your own pace. Pick up a gallery guide at the front desk to access our free audio tour.
Enhance your visit with a 45-minute guided tour of MOHAI's most iconic artifacts and stories featured in the True Northwest: a Seattle Journey exhibit, led by a skilled docent.
Take an in-depth look at a topic in Seattle's history in this 45-minute seated presentation delivered by a MOHAI staff member. Topics include:
- Seattle 101: A survey of Seattle's history from Native settlement to the present
- Seattle Icons: A fun look at 8 iconic places that make Seattle unique
- Innovative Seattle: An exploration of the innovation process through the historical lens of some of Seattle's great inventors and innovators.
- Seattle Fashion History: MOHAI's Collections Specialist for Costumes and Textiles Clara Berg shows how Seattleites dressed and what that tells us about the city
Step 2: Identify your preferred date(s) and time(s)
Please double check the table below to make sure your selected experience is available for the day you have chosen and to ensure you make the advance booking deadline. The MOHAI calendar lists activities and events happening at the museum throughout the year.
Step 3: Fill out the online Group Visit Reservation form here.

*Groups without a reservation or with fewer than 10 participants will be asked to pay regular admission rates.
Step 4: Confirm your visit
Within two business days of filling out the Group Visit Reservation form, you will receive either a phone call or email to confirm your reservation and to arrange payment.
Self-guided groups may cancel at any time, but we do request advance notice.
Cancellations of Highlights Tours and Insights Presentations must be made 72 hours in advance to receive a full refund. Cancellations within 72 hours will forfeit the $25 reservation deposit.
