Bring Your Group to MOHAI!
MOHAI at Lake Union Park is the perfect place for groups to visit! Group visits can be self-guided or for a special treat, add our Highlights Tour or Insights Presentation or both. Group visits are specially designed for groups of adults 18 years of age or older.* For details about bringing a student (preschool-12th grade) group to the museum, please visit our Education page.
* Groups of 10 or more are eligible for discounted admission.
PLEASE NOTE: Vehicles over 25 feet CANNOT enter Lake Union Park or MOHAI's accessible parking lot due to construction and road closures in the area. Vehicles exceeding 25 feet should load and unload at the parking lot off Fairview Avenue near Daniel's Broiler (map). For questions concerning accessible parking, call 206-324-1126 and press 2.
Self-Guided Group Visit
Groups of 10 or more will recieve a discounted admission rate. To receive this rate groups must book a self-guided visit at least one week in advance and pay in full 72 hours before visit. Walk-up groups will be asked to pay regular admission rates.

Hightlights Tour
Introduction to MOHAI & Seattle History
See and learn about MOHAI’s most iconic artifacts on this 45-minute tour of the museum, led by a skilled docent.
Cost: $45 per tour (maximum of 20 people per tour), in addition to regular admission per person. Groups of 10 or more are eligible for discounted admission.
Highlights Tours are offered Monday - Friday from 1 pm - 4 pm, and must be scheduled a minimum of 3 weeks in advance. A $25 deposit is required. Full payment must be made for Highlights Tour and Group Admission 72 hours before visit. Program cancellation less than 72 hours in advance will result in loss of $25 deposit.

Insights Presentation
Special Topic Presentations at MOHAI
In lieu of or in addition to a Highlights Tour, your group can book a seated one-hour Insights Presentation for a more in-depth look at Seattle history. Afterwards, your group is free to visit the galleries. Topics for an Insights Presentation include:
- Seattle 101 – This presentation is a survey of Seattle history from first settlement to today.
- Seattle Icons – Using ten representative places, people and things, Seattle Icons showcases the aspects of Seattle history that have made this city unique.
- World’s Fairs – Seattle is the rare city that has hosted two World’s Fairs. This presentation shows how each of these fairs, the 1909 Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition and the 1962 Century 21 Exposition, shaped the city.
- Seattle Fashion History – MOHAI’s Collections Specialist for Costumes and Textiles Clara Berg shows how Seattleites dressed and what that tells us about the city.
Insights Presentations are delivered by a MOHAI staff member and are one hour long.
Cost: $75 per presentation, (maximum of 50 people) in addition to regular admission per person. Groups of 10 or more are eligible for discounted admission.
