 | On the first Thursday of each month, admission to MOHAI is free all day long! Special programs and activities will happen throughout the day, including hourly docent-led tours in the Faye G. Allen Grand Atrium, starting on the half hour, 10:30 am - 6:30 pm.
This month, don’t miss MOHAI’s special exhibit Punctum/Poetry, which features poems written by Seattle high school students in response to MOHAI’s historic photo collection, then stop by several poem-writing stations set up throughout the galleries to leave your own poetic words behind. From 5 – 6:30 pm, the Vis-à-vis Society will gather audience data using poem-surveys, then present the results with a multi-media performance. If you find yourself at a loss for words, head up to the Maritime Gallery to make a periscope to take home. |
