Whether for documenting family history or to incorporate rich stories into a memoir, film, or podcast, this two-part workshop will help you make of use of oral history as a medium for gathering meaningful material. In Part 1, we will look at an overview of oral history and how it is used and we will begin to cover basic interview techniques and project design. No experience necessary. Workshop is led by experienced oral historian Shelly Leavens.
